Well the sun’s come out at last, it feels like the beginning of a long hot summer and the Livan vibes are flowing very positively since the last blog.
But blimey! Has it been that long since we last blogged?
Yep, it has. Time flies when you’re having fun and running around furiously dealing with the zillion and one things which require attention these days.
And the pace has been furious with the debut single “Life Is Smiling” just out and the band finishing off the debut album,“Democrisy” over the last couple of weeks.
Also we’ve been getting busy on the gig front. The biggest kick was getting a call from Athens, Greece asking Livan to support Def Leppard and Whitesnake at the Karaiskaki Stadium in Athens on July 1st! Now those are the kind of calls we like receiving! This was especially touching for band-leader Livan who will be performing in front of 30,000 people on his home country debut. Roll on July we say……..
The UK gigs are rolling in too – almost on a daily basis it seems. So gigs coming up thus far are:-
10th June – The Fly, Central London
11th June – The Maze, Nottingham
12th June – The Queen Charlotte, Norwich
26th June – Clapham Grand, London
1st July – Karaiskaki Stadium, Athens, Greece
5th July – Dublin Castle, London
7th August – Clapham Grand, London
27th August – Punk, Central London
But watch this space as new gigs are being added all the time and will be updated as we get them. Some more provincial dates are also being lined-up so if you’re not in Athens or London don’t worry – Livan will be visiting a gig near you soon!
Incidentally, we will be rolling out some online goodies and among them will be the opportunity to come to a Livan gig as our special guests. Watch this space for further details!
So what else is happening?
Next week sees Livan filming the video for the next single with Los Angeles based Director Johnathan London. So expect to be seeing some fresh Livan film on “If Only” coming up shortly.
